This hatch piano hinge is constructed out of glossy white coated, 18 gauge stainless steel. Measures approximately 20" L x 1 1/2" W (when opened) and mounts with (16) 1/4" Dia. mounting holes. Has a pin diameter of 1/8". See photos for additional measurements.

Hello Edward,
I don't think so, unless you can figure a way to plug/seal the hinge rod on the one end when cut. We've never tried it.
