How are those screens attached to the hatch? I'm looking for screens for our old Bowmar hatches. They would need to attached on the outside of the frame. Velcro would be an option.

Hello Sonja,
They snap inside little slots molded into the hatch frame. I'm really doubtful these would fit Bomar hatches. Typically, it's not wise to try and use screens made for one make on a different make. You can always return them if they don't work though.

Are the measurements outside dimensions or screen dimensions? My outside dimensions are 18.5 x 18.5

We do have the Jim Black 16x16 screen which actually measures out to 16 1/2" x 16 1/2" - but that's as close as we get. I don't think they've ever offered one 16 3/4 x 16 3/4.
