Boat part number 8501183 is a new, off the roll, increment of tahini Élysée Sandstone hidem from Sea Ray Boats, part number 2128478 .
Hidem (or Hydem) welt trim is used to hide the staples underneath your boat seats in boat seat upholstery projects. Simply pull the welt apart, staple through the welt and material into the bottom of the seat, and your staples will be hidden from view giving your boat seat a beautiful professional finish.
Manufacturer calls this a 5/8" hidem, we measure it to be approximately 3/4" H x 3/16" D overall.
Manufacturer calls this tahini Élysée Sandstone, we see it closer to a sand / beige in color.
